Spentys and atum3D partner up to introduce point-of-care 3D printing of immobilizers in hospitals

Spentys offers the first 3D scanning, 3D modelling and 3D printing platform that allows orthopaedic surgeons and healthcare providers to replace traditional gypsum casts and splints with personalised orthopaedic immobilisation devices that are light, waterproof and tailor-made.

DLP Station offers exceptional speed, accuracy, versatility and value. atum3D combines the proprietary features of both its hardware and software with an open resin platform, which enables using any third-party resin with DLP Station printers. This collaboration aims to combine forces and expertise, enabling point-of-care manufacturing of immobilisation devices in the emergency department. Through advanced software technology, proprietary algorithms and Spentys’ surgeon-friendly interface, surgeons and healthcare providers will be able to scan, model and print from a simple user interface, all in the hospital or practice itself.
